I am Wyatt Bush, a junior at Central Michigan University. This blog (if for some reason you can’t tell) was created for my Journalism 102 class originally and is now being used on behalf of my Journalism 340 class.

My university intentions are to pursue a double major in Online Journalism and Economics, in addition to a minor in history.

Some of my interests include reading (mainly the news or other non-fiction), playing board/video games and all things comedy. I am also a huge fan of professional hockey, soccer and football. More recently, I have developed a profound interest in economics and classical liberalism.

My freshman year I was a trombonist in the Central Michigan Marching Band and I still love playing piano.

I worked as a staff and then senior reporter with CM-Life from January 2013 – Fall 2014. Now I’m analyzing hard news with CMU Insider. These days I also work for the RSOs Liberty in North Korea, Young Americans for Liberty and University Libertarians as a Public Relations Representative and Director of Education, in addition to working for the university as an economics tutor.

I am also an avid trivia enthusiast, being the former Vice President of Club Quizbowl at CMU.

If any of my work has peaked your curiosity, check out some photos I have taken or alternatively, check out this early 20th century newspaper for which I served as editor.

Lastly, I apologize for the lack of humor in this blog, my bad.

I will not however apologize for my frequent bow tie use. Bow ties are cool.
